Fifteen of the most common questions homeowners ask before working with HarborPoint Renovations.
Every project begins with an initial consultation. You can request one through the contact page or by booking a Property Consultation & Review. From there, I will produce a written proposal covering scope, timeline and price.
Yes. The five published packages are starting points. If your project sits between two packages, or requires a fully bespoke scope, I will tailor the proposal accordingly and price it as a one-time project.
Always. Every HarborPoint Renovations project is documented in writing — scope, sequence, materials, timeline and price — before work begins. You will receive a copy by email.
It depends entirely on scope. A single-room refresh might take a few days; a multi-area renovation programme may run across several weeks. The agreed timeline is included in your written proposal.
After payment, I confirm receipt by email, finalise the scheduling window, and confirm any preparation needed on your side. The project then proceeds as set out in the proposal.
No. HarborPoint Renovations is project-based only. I do not offer subscriptions, memberships, retainers or maintenance contracts.
Once the proposal is agreed and payment received, I confirm a start window and key dates in writing. I work on one project at a time so that scheduling stays predictable for both of us.
HarborPoint Renovations is based in East Ham, London, and primarily serves the Greater London area. Projects further afield can be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Where a project requires certified electrical or plumbing trades, I coordinate those works through suitably qualified specialists, remaining your single point of contact throughout.
Yes. I treat every property with care. Floors are protected, surrounding areas are kept clean, and the site is left in a usable state at the end of each working day.
Payment is taken securely through Stripe via the links shown on each service. Stripe processes the transaction; I never see or store card details.
Yes — please see the Refund Policy for full details on cancellation windows, refund eligibility, and rescheduling.
HarborPoint Renovations is an independent sole trader business. VAT treatment is set out clearly in the written proposal and on every invoice.
An initial enquiry through the contact form is always free. A formal proposal is produced after the Property Consultation & Review, which is a paid service.
At the completion review I walk through the work with you and confirm everything is delivered to scope. If an in-scope item needs adjusting, I will return to address it.
